• Sara L. Heimer, 35, 525 Main St. E., Sleepy Eye, received of stay of adjudication for domestic assault Nov. 27. Successful probation completion results in a dismissal. Charges of domestic assault and two counts of disorderly conduct were dismissed. She was sentenced to 90 days in the Brown County Jail, 87 days stayed for one year Supervised probation, credit for three days served. She was fined $375. Conditions include successful completion of outpatient chemical dependency treatment, diagnostic mental health assessment, follow all recommendations, attend AA/NA or approved weekly support group. No alcohol/controlled substance use, no threats of violence, 40 hours Sentenced to Service within an indeterminate period of time, complete within six months.
• Thelma A. Ramos, 33, 608 14th South St., New Ulm, was charged with gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation Nov. 27. According to court documents, New Ulm Police were on patrol at 11:38 a.m., Nov. 13 when their attention was drawn to a northbound vehicle on Broadway near Center Street driven by Ramos, who they were advised had a driver’s license cancelled as inimical to public safety. Police stopped the suspect vehicle and identified the driver as Ramos.
