• Sam B. Hirschboeck, 21, 517 S.W. Maple St., Sleepy Eye, was convicted of misdemeanor DWI Monday. Another DWI and open bottle possession charge were dismissed. He was sentenced to 90 days in the Brown County Jail, stayed for two years Unsupervised probation. He was fined $485. Conditions include completing a chemical use assessment, follow all recommendations and complete a DWI Impact Panel and pay fee, both of which are completed.

• Karl Robinson, 50, 20 1/2 E. Central St., Springfield, was convicted of misdemeanor domestic assault and fourth-degree DWI plus driving after suspension Monday. Another domestic assault charge, two disorderly conduct charges and DWI 0.08 within two hours were dismissed.

He was sentenced to 90 days in the Brown County Jail, 81 days stayed for one year Supervised probation, credited with three days served. He may perform Sentence to Service in lieu of the remaining six jail days if he pays all applicable STS fees, to be completed within six months. He was placed on 1 year Supervised probation. Conditions include successful completion of a domestic violence-specific counseling program and follow any recommendations, to be completed within 10 months of sentencing. He is prohibited from possessing a firearm for three years from the conviction date.

For the first conviction, he was fined $385 and $685 for the second and third convictions. He was placed on two years Supervised probation for the second and third convictions. Conditions include completing a chemical use assessment and follow any recommendations, schedule within seven days of sentencing, complete a DWI Impact Panel and pay fee.

• Lasara J. Krumrey, 46, 411 N. Washington St., New Ulm, was convicted of gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI. Another third-degree DWI charge was dismissed. He was sentenced to 365 days in the Brown County Jail, 323 days stayed for three years Supervised probation. Jail time to be served in three staggered segments. He was credited with four days served. He was fined $1,015. He can get credit of up to $300 of the fine for Ignition Interlock program and for out-of-pocket expenses for treatment. Conditions include completing 30 days remote electronic monitoring, complete intensive outpatient chemical dependency treatment, follow all recommendations, complete a DWI Impact Panel and pay fee, attend AA/NA or approved weekly support group and verify to agent, comply with curfew restrictions, not enter bars or liquor stores and not use alcohol or controlled substances.

• Joshua D. Paulson, 35, 2201 N. Broadway, New Ulm was convicted of felony fifth-degree drug possession-not small amount of marijuana. Sentence is a stay of imposition. Successful probation completion wil result in a misdemeanor conviction. He was fined $1,160 and placed on five years Supervised probation.

Conditions include successful completion of outpatient chemical dependency treatment, follow all recommendations, do not use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives, do not register to vote or vote until probation discharge and all civil rights fully restored. He was sentenced to5 80 hours Community Work Service within an indeterminate period of time, on a schedule set by probation.

• Bruce A. Prigge Jr., 24, 17521 20th St., Brownton, was charged with two counts of felony first-degree DWI, two counts of gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI, two counts of third-degree DWI, gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety and two counts of misdemeanor fourth-degree DWI.

According to court documents, New Ulm Police were advised by Brown County Dispatch of a hit and run crash near 512 1st South in New Ulm at 1:02 a.m., Aug. 5. The suspect was eastbound on 1st South St.

Police saw a tan vehicle bearing the reported license plate driven by a man. Police initiated a stop and the driver was identified as Prigge. He exhibited intoxication clues and dispatch advised his driving status was cancelled-Inimical to Public Safety.

A Preliminary Breath Test resulted in a sample of a .23 blood alcohol content (BAC) and Prigge was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. A DataMaster test resulted in a .19 BAC at 2:26 a.m.

Prigge was convicted of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol on May 14, 2015 in Sibley County Court; in Blue Earth County Court on Aug. 31, 2016; and second-degree DWI in Sibley Court Court on Sept. 29, 2016. All are qualified, prior impaired driving incidents within 10 years.
