GFW FFA to hold Corn Drive

WINTHROP – The GFW Pioneer Express FFA will hold a Corn Drive on Oct. 12 to raise money for Camp Courage.

Last year the FFA group gave $8,301.06 to Camp Courage, a camp for kids and adults with disabilities. FFA members will collect corn and monetary donations on Wednesday Oct. 12 in the GFW communities.

The GFW Pioneer Express has been giving to Camp Courage Since 1960, and has raised $224,349.82. Camp Courage has issued a “High Five” challenge this year to inspire chapters to raise 5 percent more than their previous donation. The GFW Pioneer Express FFA hopes to meet this goal.
