St. Cloud Technical & Community College congratulates the following students for their academic achievement Spring 2018. They have earned recognition on the President’s List for a grade point average of 4.0 or the Dean’s list for a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.9.

Stephen Joyce of Sleepy Eye earned placement on the Gonzaga University Dean’s List for spring semester 2018. Students must earn a 3.5 to 3.84 grade-point average to be listed.


Sydney Kerkhoff of Clements was named to the High Honors list at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for the spring semester of the 2017-2018 academic year.

Students named to the High Honors list had grade point averages from 3.75 to 3.89.


Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College held its commencement ceremony on Friday, May 18 for the graduating class of 2018.

Brent Walters, Gaylord, earned a Technical Diploma One Year, Dairy Herd Management


Area students were among the students to graduate from North Dakota State University in spring 2018.

The University of Wisconsin-River Falls spring semester Dean’s List includes area students.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a full-time undergraduate must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0, or midway between an “A” and “B” average. Area students are listed below by hometown, name, and major.

Luke Irmiter, of New Ulm, received a bachelor of arts degree in management: financial and organizational management from the University of Minnesota-Morris.

Morris is the University of Minnesota’s public liberal arts college, a residential campus located in west central Minnesota.


The following area students are among the 800 Spring 2018 graduates of Minnesota State Community and Technical College, with campuses in Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Moorhead and Wadena.

Wheaton College student Danae Witte of Nicollet, Minnesota, was named to the spring 2018 Dean’s List. Dean’s List honors are earned by undergraduate students who carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.


Central Lakes College, Brainerd and Staples, has announced the spring 2018 graduates.

Mallory M. Kapphahn, of Arlington, received an Associate of Arts degree, Liberal Education at the Normandale Community College graduation ceremony on May 14 at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis.


Megan Demaris, Sleepy Eye, daughter of Mary Kay Bougie and Scott Demaris was named to the second semester, 2017-18 Dean’s List at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. The list includes 326 undergraduate students who earned a grade point average of 3.60 or better on a 4.0 scale.
