The University of Dubuque has named its Fall Semester 2016 Academic Dean’s List.

The list includes Ellie Schneider, New Ulm

To be named to the dean’s list, a student must earn a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale for that semester.

Aaron D Radtke, of Winthrop, received a B.A. in Sport Management at Wichita State University. Wichita, Kansas, in fall 2016.

Radtke was also named to the WSU Dean’s List for the fall 2016 semester.

Two students from New Ulm have received the University of Wisconsin-Stout Chancellor’s Award for the fall 2016 semester.

The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above.

They are Sara Biedenbender, pursuing a B.F.A. interior design, and Lydia Schoof, pursuing a B.S. in dietetics.

The Office of the Registrar at the University of Minnesota Crookston recently announced its list of fall 2016 graduates. Students completed their degree requirements during fall semester 2016.

Area graduates include:

Amanda Eischen of Comfrey, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management with High Distinction

Tanner Walsh of Gaylord, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Golf and Turf Management and Horticulture.

St. Cloud Technical & Community College has recognized the following students for their academic achievement Fall 2016. They have earned recognition on the President’s List for a grade point average of 4.0 or the Dean’s list for a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.9. The University of Wisconsin-Madison has recognized students named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester of the 2016-2017 academic year.

Northern Michigan University announces the Dean’s List for the Fall 2016 semester.

The list includes: Nicholas Vogel of New Ulm. He qualified with a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.99.

Kelsey Kittler, New Ulm, received a Master of Science, Occupational Therapy degree at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in December. The 52nd annual Midyear Commencement was held at the La Crosse Center Sunday, Dec. 18.

The College of St. Scholastica held its fall 2016 commencement ceremony Dec. 17 in the Reif Gymnasium on campus. The following local students graduated:

Michael Boe of Arlington, graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.

Ellen Klabunde of Brownton graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.

Kara Nelson of New Ulm graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Katherine Northagen of Sleepy Eye graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.

Caitlin Chartier, daughter of Randy and Mary Chartier of New Ulm has been named to the Deans list for Fall 2016 at East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. She has been awarded an honors stole and honors certificate in Anthropology at ECU Greenville, North Carolina. She has been accepted to an Anthropology Field school for Summer Session studying at the Balinese Macaque Ethnoprimatology Field Project in Ball, Indonesia.

Cody Rodewald of New Ulm, a current 10th trimester student in the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport campus, has been named to the Dean’s List for the 9th quarter.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must achieve a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 in all studies for the respective term.
